In OAG’s July 2026 global ranking, Garuda Indonesia posted a 95.4 percent arrival on-time performance, a 0.61 percent cancellation rate, and 6,895 flights counted in the survey, enough to place it first worldwide among the airlines tracked.
The result sits inside a longer run of strong monthly performance that OAG had already highlighted in earlier 2026 updates, with Garuda repeatedly appearing near the top of the table. That consistency points to a carrier that has been managing its schedule more tightly than many competitors rather than producing a one-off statistical outlier.
For passengers, the difference shows up in ordinary life: fewer missed connections, fewer ruined family visits, and less time spent stranded at gates or rerouted through already crowded hubs. For crews and airport workers, a more reliable schedule usually means fewer cascading delays that turn one late aircraft into a chain of problems across an entire day.
